Frotteurism or Frottage.
I assume it is French in origin. One who practices this behavior would be - at best - a Frotteur? And the victim, I suppose, a Frottee?
I would imagine most Cats are Frotteurs.
I think a lot of animals are unwitting 'frotteurs'.
'Frottage' sounds so much like 'cottage' that the word cottage will now forever evoke thoughts of frottage...ahahah...
frottage is a practice among female orangutangs and other anthropoids. it is also something that has lost me many friendships.
